Fergus is a lovely big boy, who has had a troubled start to his life. He was teased and tormented as a young kitten/cat and hasn't forgotten - he is very affectionate but reacts to being stroked more than twice at a time - ready to defend himself. He has spent a few weeks with one of our experienced fosterers to assess his ways. He loves being with humans - very affectionate so long as you understand it's on his terms - he will sit and purr very loudly and have a chat - just keep your hands to yourself and let him lead the way. The more time he has to understand that he will never be tormented again, the more he will turn into a sweet boy.

Fergus will need a home with no young children and an owner, who understands that time is a great healer and this lovely boy deserves a second chance.
